Hi list,

I'm looking to buy my first pistol, and first powder-propellant gun, after shooting several at a friend's house. I also shot another friend's XD45 and liked it, after I got used to the recoil after one magazine or so. Anyway, this forum looks like a wealth of information, and I'll mostly be just lurking, at least at first, but wanted to be polite and say hello, and thanks for this resource.
