Nice, I think I'm about to buy a PRP trigger kit myself. How easy was it to install?

What is the texture on your grips? It's not the skate tape stuff is it? Looks more like a padded grip

If I am correct, it is the x-treme grip rubberized grips. I got mine from PRP as well, and love 'em.

Let see if I can get everything in one post

Direct link to vid. It shows for me.

The install was very easy BUT to make sure I didn't have any problems I got all my links to the help pages together and totally stripped my gun 3 or 4 times then put it back together with the stock parts before the new parts got here. That gave me a complete understanding of how everything worked by itself and with each other. I can strip the gun and put it back together in about 20min now. The grip is covered in x-treme grip rubberized from PRP. Everything is actually from PRP. The pins are the SS from PRP and the mag release is the stock one. Push the pin 1/2 to 3/4 out and leave the punch in. DO NOT PULL PIN OUT! Polish both sides and reinstall.

I don't think I missed anything but if I did let me know. Also let me know if there is still a problem with the video.

Thanks for the comments.

I have been looking at ordering from PRP VS installing the PRP Ultimate Easy XDM Trigger Kit myself later.

Two questions I have that may lean me one way or the other.
What reasons would your "Recrowned a factory barrel" on a new gun?

Reason for the "Tuned magazine release"?
I have been searching the forum looking for info on this.... Is this something I can do?

You would recrown if you buggered it up by dropping it on the nose or some way put a gouge into it. It's (my opinion) really only needed for longer range shooting (50+ yards).

The mag release can have a rough edge to it that makes it hard to drop. Watch the youtube vids on how to put in an extended mag release. Then take out the parts and smooth out any rough edges and add a small dab of synthetic grease so everything moves easy.
