Received these from my dad this past summer:

J. Stevens single-shot 410 shotgun (Grandfather bought in the 1940s)
J. Stevens Model '94 .22LR "Old Stevens Favorite" (Grandfather traded a set of spurs for this in the 1930s)
Colt 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver (My 3x Great-Grandfather's)

Sweet man, love to see things like this passed down and cherished.
I received a Model 10 .38 spl from one of my grandparents earlier this year. I am keeping it in my brothers safe for now, just in case. Would really love to get the SN and find out how old it is.

the only such gun that interested me is Audie Murphy's .30 carbine. It's in his museum. Now THAT was a gun that saw enough action to not be just "lucky" in what it did!

Plenty of old guns have seen as much if not more action than audie murphys.

You'll like the sgt york 1911 thread.
