I've had a C&R license since... long long ago in a land far far away and have really enjoyed the firearms that it has allowed me to accumulate. Lately I've been going through some of the accumulation, replacing old springs when needed and getting them out for WalkAbout. All are over 50 years old now even though some were less than that when I acquired them (like my East German Makarov) and quite a few of my guns I bought new are now C&R eligible.

My oldest handgun now is a 116 year old S&W DA Model 4 but still accurate and a joy to shoot. Right now, many of the really great American made revolvers and semi-automatics of the late 60s and early 70s will become C&R eligible which is not at all what my Bank wanted to hear.
