I've got the XD-40 service and picked up an EFK Firedragon 9mm conversion barrel for it. I've put over 300 rounds through it now with no problems. The barrel came with instructions to adjust/tweek the fit to slide if need be. Mine was just fine. The finish looks great as well.

I have read before you may have to adjust the feed lips on the .40/.357 mags to get it to feed the last round. Out of my 6 mags, none have needed it.

I have my Laserlyte QD sighted in for the .40 barrel and the point of aim is the same at 30 feet with the 9mm barrel.

I'm very pleased with it - only problem is the same as with my .40 barrel - too much fun to shoot!!!

Yeah, I'm using stock - I like the captive spring for simplicity. I've got used to the bite from the .40 cal rounds, so shooting the 9mm's is as easy as pie!

For the price the rod & springs are it may be worth a try someday though.
