Ed wanted a picture when I was done, and I thought every one eles would like to see as well, especially after the rhino liner post. Oh Rhino Liner can make a great temp grip. Add some sand to the can of bed liner then take a course sponge and dab it on the frame. If you dont like it peel it off.

Ed I chose sand, but I think it may be a little lighter than the 1911 in the mag but its hard to tell since Ichy takes good pics. Two tan 45`s I like it and it should go really good with the od frame.

I am not a fan of the OD fram but with this slide I might be converted.

Acually what I did was photoshop OldSchools picture into the one I did. Its cool how the magazine covered up all the grass and his frame is just gone.

The KG color "Dark Earth" I used on my XD is the same color used by Kimber for their Dessert Warrior. I look forward to seeing pics of Ed's gun when complete. I am sure it too will look sweet.

Yes. Rich is doing the slide and frame in Dark Earth. Haven't decided what I am going to do with the controls yet. The grips are black with laser etching.

I recieved my Desert Camo holster and Dual Pouch today from Blade-Tech. They are sweet!

I'd guess probably not. She's pretty picky about the way guns look, but fortunatly she like the way my stock, black XD looks. She doesn't like much of anything with wood grips or stock and she doesn't like any revolvers that I've shown her look. I'm gonna have to work on her about both, but we'll see. She didn't like the pictures of the XD too much before I got it, but she liked the way it looked when I brought it home.

I am very pleased with the results of the DuroCoat
application. Those TruGlo TFOs are 'out of sight'.
Please notice the contrast of the three colors. Very
well balanced.

I do not have a patent on this machine, so those who
are tempted, do not hesitate to call on James for a
duplicate.
