My Gen1 HS2000 is next to me as I type this. I was an early adopter and bought my 1st one from an internet outfit, Super Gun Guide, for $275 after reading a glowing writeup in American Handgunner.

Over time I noted with amusement all the negative comments (made in Croatia, it's not a Glock, yada, yada, yada) from bozos who never owned or shot one.

In an insane moment, I sold it to a forum member. Later, I came too and bought another new Gen1 for the same price from a real nice fella on Gunbroker. It too has been flawless, and I will never give it up.

Yes, the Cruffler buy-o-meter was right on the money!

I bought my Gen 1 HS2K for $275 back in early '01. It's still the best bang for buck gun purchase I've ever made.

I went to that site Ed and saw the gun that was used by actor Nick Adams in the "Johnny Yuma" tv show that I always watched. Boy, that brought back some memories. All I need is $5K to buy it (right). I recall that he committed suicide either while the show was in production or afterward; not sure which. What a shame.
