Any thought on different brands? grip widths? I'm thinking about a STI VIP but I can't seem to find much info.
Looking to use as a CCW.

My opinion lies close to the foolio one, I have Para, but thats because I am a cheapskate - it performs well, but the quality goes to STI.

Para, Charles Daly, STI all make a nice double stack

Don't let the price of a CD make you think it's crap, they are made by Bul

If you got the cash, go for the STI.

I shot a Para hi-cap and it was nice and shot well, I wouldn't hesitate on buying one. However, after shooting both, if it was down to those two, I'd take the STI. The STI didn't feel "mass produced".

You can probably still find a Kimber BP10 II out there. Its a polymer frame double stack. Its my understanding the frames were made by Buel.
