Grip Tape rocks, I dont use it for CCW because I dont want it causing my clothing to ride up or giving away the presence of the gun but for target shooting and competition shooting...Its DEFINATELY worth using!

I use grip tape on my Comp gun. It was a little tough at first, but after about a week of shooting every day it didn't bother my hand at all.

We have had some crazy heat up here the last couple of weeks and
my hands have been so sweaty I could hardly pull the slide back, but I have had no issues with my grip on the gun. This stuff is awesome!!

My gun is a Canyon Creek competition special. Rich charged $5 for the grip.

I used it on my CZ-40P before I sold it. I can take or leave it, does not do anything for me and refuses to stay put, my big hands sweat a lot.

I have some on another gun , and it works fine ,there, but the other gun is an alloy,

and ( at the risk of sounding a bit perverse) can you put it on your slide w/o damaging the holster?
Depends on what part of the slide you put it on.

I put some of that tape on top of my slide and it didn't affect a thing. The sides of the slide would be a different story though.

The TruGrip that Pistol-Gear.com is far better than any skate board tape I have ever tried. It provides grip without tearing up the skin like skate board/safety tape does. I just wish Eric Wesselman would sell sheets of the stuff instead of just precut panels. Then I could replace the skate board tape on the front & rear of my Glock slide used in USPSA Open Division.

I have a cutdown 1911 set on my Officer carry gun and I am not worried about the grip catching my clothes.

I have the die cut panels on the sides of the grip, but I also use the 3M Saftey Walk tape. It's a self-adhesive rubber/polymer grip tape. Comes on a roll, in width's of 1", 2", 4"and 6"
I'va had pieces on my XD for months. A friend picked up a foot long piece
for me at a utility/hardware store. About a $1.50 Works great!!!

I put strip on the front of my 1911 when I still had thin smooth alumagrips on it and was shooting some 45 supers. Wanted the extra traction... I just bought a full sheet from a local skateboard store. Figure I've got a life-time supply. Havn't put any on my xd yet but if I want to I just need to find the big piece (think it's behind the safe...)

(TruGrip) 'Too thick for small hands. If the company offered just the side panels the way the Decal Grips give you the option to instal, I would try it. I don't want a wraparound. Unitl then, it's the Kraigster Grip for me :)
