You won't like it if it shatters
The tactical use a one piece guide rod and a separate spring.I have a dons guide rod in my service similar to tac. model really still simple to disassemble .But allows you to pick a spring.

thanks i sort of had that in my mind it was like that ,so it issimilar to say a 1911 now u changed the service model ,to that? or are they like a sub compact
Yes the service uses the encased spring similar to the sub.
Unfortunately their is no replacement for sub .But both of my have functioned flawlessly.The shatter thing may be an urban myth but made me think twice I ended up getting a tungsten
