I apologize if this has been asked, but my search was less than fruitfull. Reason I'm asking is that I've got a C-TAC holster for an XD9 SC for sale and a potential buyer asked about this very thing.

I only need a "yes or no" answer. Is the XD40 slide thicker than the XD9?

Sorry some carification here. The SC9 is the same as the .40 slide. The service 9 and tactical 9 are thinner than the .40 of any configuration. Hope that helps a little more.
