I finally got around to shooting my new XD-9 today. I was pleased with the results.
It wasn't hard to start getting used to at all. I'm guessin I was at around 20ft give or take, and after only 2 mags I was makin 2in groups. That isn't too bad is it? I was usin regular WWB that says "improved accuracy bullet" on the top of the box. Whatever that means. 115gr
The few Blazer rounds I shot off performed equally as well.
I blasted off a few rounds with my XD-40 while I was out there also. Same type of el cheapo ammo....same results. However I could get good patterns a little further out.
Both has brand new Don's combo kits in em....22lb spring. No gnarly muzzle flip, nice and tight recoil outta both of em.
I'll see if I can update this thread with some pics later.
It was a nice day today :D

My XD-40 used to seemed to flip upwards from the muzzle with the stock spring.
Now instead the recoil goes straight backwards more...it is more controllable.
The 9mm is even easier.
Plus there's been threads of broken stock guide rods....preventive steps never hurts :)
