Could use some cleaning up, and quit using it for a bearing driver or for breaking glass & concrete. Oh and the bore could use some TLC too. Did you acquire this from a gang member that threw it down the street?

Yes it's damaged. You can clean it up, but you will take the finish off. Does it effect accuracy... IDK.

From the testing I've seen, a crown will only matter further downrange than you'll ever have to worry about. The muzzle can be cut with a hacksaw at a random 45ish degree angle and it won't noticeably affect accuracy, I know it sounds crazy, but the demonstrations and testing are pretty easy to watch online, Google-fu... If that was MY barrel, I'd take this opportunity to polish the finish off the whole thing and bring it to a nice, shiny finish for a unique look 😉
I'll say it ... this thread has pic ... but needs story.
