Just got my CTAC last night and I'm impressed so far. It keeps my XD Sub in tight and was comfortable.

I was trying it at the 4 o'clock position and it fits nicely, but it is a real pain to get my wallet out of my back pocket. Does anyone else have this problem? The only thing I can think of is to carry my wallet elsewhere...

Also, what cant do you guys use? It came with a straight drop but that doesn't seem to work right for me - I'm going to try having it strong side with a forward cant, but I'm also looking at carrying it cross draw. Any suggestions or advice?

I changed my wallet over to the left side from the first day I started carrying. This wasn't because of the holster getting in the way but because if you leave your wallet in your strong side pocket you risk flashing your gun to people when you take it out. There are too many things that could go wrong...your shirt could lift up and catch on the gun and stay there etc... You should just change pockets...I realize right pocket is habit but it hasn't been hard to change. Other than that though I guess I wear mine more like 3:30 or closer to 3:00. I find that the butt of my SC sticks out less if the gun is more towards 3 than 4. So I've never found that it obstructs that pocket even if I did keep my wallet there. I'm sure there are people who keep it there but I think it's a good idea to do everything you can to minimize risks of flashing.

I can't do crossdraw with my CTAC...it just doesn't conceal well there for me. Could just be my body. I have mine set at a slight forward cant. I don't know how many degrees but it's pretty slight.

I left mine at the factory setting.

I haven't carried a wallet in years. I got a little card holder for license, basic cards, etc and carry that in the front pocket. Carry cash in opposite front pocket. I stopped carrying a wallet because I was getting a pain in the hip from driving with an overloaded wallet.

Thanks Brad! I hadn't thought of the fact that going for the wallet could expose the gun - guess I'll have to try doing the switch.

Also, 3 or 3:30 may be better a position for me as I spend a decent amount of my time desk-bound and at 4 o'clock, the butt does seem a bit too obvious. Don't know what my co-workers would think...
