In less than 48 hrs I will receive my almighty XD45 tactical , shipped out from Springer Precision after some more work. I had Scott redo the trigger job from my previous trigger job (done by somebody else), and add a snakeskin stipple grip. I'll post pics when it comes in, but here is the (99.9% sure) final spec list on my tac45:

XD45 tactical in black..............$500
XS 24/7 big dot sights............$120
Extended Slide Release, Canyon Creek...........$35
Polished feed ramp, Canyon Creek...............$15
Tungsten guide rod, Canyon Creek...............$85
13 rd black mags x 6, Springfield Armory LE Division.........$
6 lb trigger job, Springer Precision...........$50 - LE discount
Snakeskin grip, Springer Precision...........$165 - LE discount
Reinstall stock mag release............$10 - LE discount

TOTAL: $980, but does NOT include stuff I had removed, ie Canyon Creek trigger job, Canyon Creek extended mag release, hogue grip, AGP springs. Plus I don't remember how much I paid for those extra mags. So I guesstimate I put about $1700 into my XD including labor, shipping, etc. This estimate does not include duty holster, mag pouch, accessories, etc.

My baby will be using 230 grain Federal HST's for LE duty. Can't wait to "re-break in" the new trigger!

Does your dept require no less then a 6lb trigger?

When you post your pics can do a price breakdown of your build?

dept wants a stock trigger. factory is 5.5-7 lb, before i had a combat job at 4 lb. trigger parts will be restored to factory and pull adjusted. i figure 6 is good one to start with. once it is broken in it'll settle to like 5 or less. i'll do a price breakdown with the pics later.

bump, pics added.

note: pics #4-5 are older and show the extended mag release and stock grip that have been obviously removed/modified. i'll take 'er to the range soon for a proper celebration.
