I put aside my beef with the S&W 'Pro Shop' (cough, ugh, gack) and got one tonight for two reasons: 1. a spare in hand is always good, and 2. it has no caliber markings so I can run any upper I desire with absolutely no BS.

My usual supplier is backordered fiercely, so I figured since it was priced decently what the heck... It seems well made, a Pmag slides in/out like buttah. They did extra machining on sharp edges inside the magwell which is a nice touch in addition to relieving possible stress points should you slam a mag against cover, etc. She is thoroughly oiled down and sealed up already.

But - it is 'high shelf' and I prefer 'low shelf' lowers, so when I get a low shelf lower, you guys will get dibs and I will do ftf if you are in FL.

I'm just doing my part to spread BRD!

I like keeping that option open

Otherwise I'd stay high-shelf with the extra metal.

You going to be buying a RDIAS ?
