Thinking about buying an EFK Fire Dragon conversion barrel to change my XD40 Service model to 9 mm. How many of you have these and how satisfied are you? Did yours require any fitting or could you just drop it in and shoot?
Just drop in and shoot on mine. Some require a little tweaking but mine didn't. Then mags may need to be tweaked also. I love mine and have put about 1000 rounds thru it. unfortunately, I bought an SC xd9 this year and am having so much fun with it, I don't change out the barrel much any more..
Contact Old School and he can give you the low down or just do a search on EFK on the faorum and you find all you need to know.
My situation was a little bit different but it might help. I put a non ported .40 EFK barrel in my .40 V-10 in order to eliminate the ports. I did have to grind on mine. Check it out here: http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=16563
