I found some Moly powder that I must have picked up somewhere for my longe range rifle bullets that I used to have,and was wondering if it's ok to do in pistols. Moly bullets did make a difference for rifles(not always worth the cost though)but I don't know about pistols.Since I already have it I'd like to use it for something rather than throwing it out,otherwise I would'nt do it. Anybody know??

You could but I see no point. The moly coating of rifle bullets was all the rage a few years ago, but there is little to nop benefit & you end up having a bbl that becomes moly specific. There are some companies doing cast bullets w/ moly coating instead of wax based lubers & they work, offering less smoke when shooting lead bullets.

The "do-it-yourself" molly powder will produce lots of smoke with fast burning pistol powders.
