I ordered a few CMMG and Tactical Innovation lower receivers. Which buffer tube do they take? Mil Spec?

either, the buffer tube threading isn't affected by commercial or milspec. only the width and length of the non-threaded tube is what differs.

Hahaha !! I just don't understand why you wouldn't use a Mil-Spec because the lower is "Mil Spec" grade so why would you cut corners with a commercial tube. I don't know if it's just me or not though ..

There may be more options for a mil spec tube but I think either would serve you well. Anyone know how there came to be two sizes on buffer tubes???

Well, the Tactical Innovations will be the next rifle built which is going to be another 16" although that lower is really going to be ultimately used for SBR.
