I'm not into reloading yet, but hope to be by sometime in 2009. What are the disadvantages of shooting CCI Blazer Aluminum Cased Ammo for target practice?

Exactly why most "Our Ammo Only" ranges use lots of that. They don't want to sell you a product you can reuse. They gave me grief for taking my brass home.

"This is my property... I paid an absurd price ($17x50) and I will keep it..."

But on to topic. I have 300 rounds of this ammo through my XD9sc with not a hitch.

Bout same for moi with mine, no probs.
My Kahr PM9 likes it fine, too.

Actually, I haven't found a 9mm round that either won't reliably eat, in any weight.
