Is anyone using cast bullets on a 9mm Tactical? After the substantial increase of bullets prices I decided to try some cast bullets on my 9XD and I wonder if there is any problems using lead on this gun. Any suggestions on bullet moulds, lube and loads will be appreciated.
TIA

Not in the 9mm, but about all I shoot in my 45tac are lead bullets. I have best luck w/ 122-124gr lead truncated cone or flat points in various 9mm. Cast med. hard (12-15bhn) & any decent lube & they roll fine upto 1250fps. Molds by Magma, Redding, Lyman, RCBS & Lee are great. The Lee 6cav is a good value product. Lubes, Lars red is great White Label Lube. If you want to buy instead of cast, try theses guys: New Page 1

I'm casting 9mm Lee 124 TC. Been shooting them for a while with no problems. I use Alox lube.
