Anyone know of a holster that is good for beneath the seat of your car for a 4" service? I have a Fobus that I have modified for use for now, but I would like something that won't be under my feet if I have to stop suddenly. All I did to the Fobus is drill out the rivets for the paddle and detached it so it would fit beneath the low clearance of my seat (2000 Trans Am).

Checkout Grassburr Holsters. They have a lot of what you need. They make nice stuff. Someone here has one of their holsters. I sold it to him is R Dub?

That Grassburr set-up looks like a great solution to what you're talking about, Darrin. I like the versatility. You could move it from car-to-car-to-bedroom-tohome office-to bathroom (hey, you never know) or whatever. Cool product

Fobus is garbage... heres the best I found

I own many holsters and Fobus is one. I would not call them garbage. If you have owned one in the past and didn't like it give reasons. Three word statements are of no use to the reader.
Fobus is junk. They are just not well made. They can be easily broken by someone trying to take your weapon. I have seen it demonstrated many times. A lot of people that own them will say that they are fine and good range holsters, but for the same price you could get an uncle mikes kydex that's much better made than the fobus. Fobus is just cheap plastic.

I don't agree. Another member and I were pulling a large wagon at the range. We put our steel targets in it. The front wheel hit a rock and the tee handle spun into my side. It hit my Fobus holster with so much force as to put a round dent into it never breaking it or damaging the pistol in it. If it had hit my side I would have been on the way to the hospital. For what I use it for it works great.

Backstay,

Glad you found a good use for a Fobus. They might make a good handle stopper, but they make a awful holster
WTF does this have to do with this original post?

Start your own thread glfpunk, backstay, davidk to bitch about fobus holsters.

Keep you pissing match out of this thread!

To the original thread starter, try the grassburr set up and let us know how it works!

I think I will try the Grassburr holster. It seems like it would be the best option for my small vehicle. I like the versatility from what the pictures show. If anyone has one of these, let me know how you like it please.
