Me being me, I like to tinker with things, well not so much tinker but, open up and see how things work.

Anyways, I was replacing the trigger on my Bushmaster XM15 and I was looking at the muzzle break (I know how do you go from trigger to muzzle break, my answer ADD). I started wondering, would the report of my shot be quieter if the muzzle break wasn't on there? So I grabbed my AR tool and loosened it up and went to go shot it. The report did seem quieter, but here is my dilemma.

The muzzle break doesn't go on the right way. The ports are on the bottom or off to the side. I can not get it to end up correct. So, anyone know what to do? Is there a washer I lost? I don't remember seeing one.

If it's lost, you can get a crush washer or peel washer for under $5. Either one of those will allow you to time your muzzle brake
