Ok, so I don't really keep a bug out bag, but I could throw one together in about 5 minutes. I saw polloi's picture and I thought it would be cool to do something similar. I love my XD-9, but I think I love my SAR-3 even more if that's possible. I've heard some bad things about them, but this one's been reworked with a new hammer and some other parts. I've put more than 1,000 rounds of Wolf .223 through it without a single hitch!

And if I did have to throw a bag together, the XD-9 would definitely be coming with me. 8)

You see, when you 'bug out' all you really need are guns, ammo, and the means to see your target [flashlight]. Just shoot something and you got the bug out of your system!

Nice pics man!! SARs are never that bad, unless the FSB is so canted that the gas tube has to twist to get on there.
I'd like to pick up an AK in .223 someday. That OD XD-9 is taunting me as well. I was originally going to get a green one, but then veered for the conventional black. Now I got a serious hankerin for a tactical or subbie in OD...
The addiction begins! went through this with AKs too...

Wow, that's a pretty good price for a complete set! I was thinking hard about the new polymer side folder that's been showing up, but I really like that green stock set.

I should have put one of the Weigand magazines in for the shoot, the bakelite mag just doesn't look right.

And, for the other replies, you're right in that it's not a complete bug out bag. It was really more of a working title for a picture that took 10 minutes to set up, shoot and post 8)

Thanks to all for the comments!
