I've had my eye on the Browning Maxus for about 5 years now. I got the green light from my wife to pick one up as her 5 year anniversary gift to me! I mainly wanted this for shooting Clays, and I'll keep using my 870 for hunting. I went with the Sporting Clays model with the 30" barrel. I picked it up and cleaned it lastnight and am hoping to try it out this week sometime. I ordered it from Grab-a-Gun, who I have nothing bad to say about. They shipped it out in 3 days, which I consider pretty good!

Also, Browning is having a rebate until the end of next week. They'll give you up to $75 for accessories purchased on the same transaction as a new autoloader. It's $100 if you buy an O/U

I was just drooling over one of these this past week. Such a beautiful shotgun. Congrats!

Thanks! I put about 75 rounds through it over the weekend. Shoots great! Very soft recoil and swings nicely.
