I know I don't really need to start a new thread but it's my first 1911 and I'm still excited about it.

I was really close to buying some VZ grips until I realized how popular they were. I wanted a look that would stand out and make my C3 look different from the other ones out there.

I'm glad I waited because I eventually stumbled across a set of used Esmeralda Grips that fitted my bill perfectly.

A bit of advice to any new Sig 1911 buyers. I'm fairly certain they use some type of glue on the bushings because getting them off initially was impossible. Sprayed the edges with ballistol and letting it sit for a while. Came out nice and easy after doing that.

They look really good. UNfortunately you now have a breeding pair......they will grow to fill any container you place the unused ones in. Its like holsters, I swear.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

And I'll behave this time and not start a new thread just to post the IWB holster I ended up going with.

Went with the Peregrine from Nightingale Leather
