Beautiful rifle!!!

Kinda curious, why does the rear sight not have elevation markings??

the finn's marked the sides of the rear sights in meters.they start at 200 meters.the orginal russian sights were in arshins which = 28 inches.the finns milled them off and remarked them in meters.
