I was wondering if anyone has had there barrel polished on an XDm, and how does it feel when firing. With the M u have the match grade barrel, with a tighter fit. If the barrel was polished, would it still be as tight and still maintain the "M factor"?

Depends on who does the work and how it's done.
If you're careful, you shouldn't be removing enough material to affect accuracy/ function.

I'll be polishing the barrel on my new 9mm M real soon...
