I would have to think that it is. You can use it on leather, so I have to imagine cerakote would be ok. However, you may want to wait for an expert to chime in. Balistol is what I use on all my firearms and I like the stuff.

Does anyone know of Ballistol is safe on Cerakote finish?
Hi Everyone, saw this post, knew I could be useful so I joined in with you guys.

Wikipedia says Ballistol is essentially mineral oil, oleic acid and C5 alcohols, whatever that is...

None of these chemicals will have the slightest influence on Cerakote. I know this because I am a trained Cerakote applicator and took the 2 day class in 2010. I have been applying Cerakote ever since.

Please feel free to call me for further questions.
