Reason I ask is because gas has come down as has copper, any chance we'll see a drop in ammo prices soon?

I have noticed that 223/5.56mm ammo has come down some over the past couple of months, and where it was once very hard to find, it appears to be available most of the time.

The rest of what I shoot I reload so can't speak to that.

I sure hope so. The oil prices in store have risen sharply, Shell Rotella T used to be $16, went up to $20 and now it's $22.

Mobil1 went up to $26 for the regular stuff locally, used to be $22. I knew it was coming, just takes a while for the flucuations to hit stores.

Supply and demand dictates that ammo and gun prices are going to increase between now and Jan. People are preparing for the next year, or four years. AR's are selling like there's no tomorrow. If you want a riffle, that could be identified as an assault riffle, you better get it now! Besides, it might be a good $ investment!
