AR Triggers

I am trying to finish up my current AR build and I am looking at triggers. I was going to install a straight forward mil-spec trigger but after reading several articles on the different triggers out there, I started doing some research on the following tiggers:

I have read all of the pros and cons with each set up, for example; They say Timney Triggers are great and just drop right into the lower receiver but are extremel finicky when getting them adjusted just right. The others tend to be a little harder to install compared to the Timney but are not as cantankerous to adjust. I have heard nothing bad about the gold trigger by American Trigger Corp; does anybody have any good honest experience with any of these triggers (no brand loyalists please). I am trying to make narrow my decision down and right now I am going back and forth between Geissele and the Gold Trigger....

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have also heard a lot of good things about American Trigger Corps. Gold Trigger. There was an article in last months American Rifleman about a perfect 3 gun setup and the AR had the gold trigger installed. I researched it further and I have not run across any negative feedback on it. The only problem is that I don't care too much for an actual gold colored trigger... Personally I think it stands out like a sore thumb and I might as well go ahead and put some spinners and a coat of wax on the AR...

Hey if spinners could be put on an ar somebody would do it!

Also, remember that I don't think American Rifleman has ever met a weapon or accessory they didn't like, and that includes some truly horrendous gear!

Ha Ha

Go full auto and the spinners would be buzzing!

That's true...
It seems I might go for a Geissele, try them at first. After reviewing all of the triggers Geissele has, I am pulling more towards the SSA with a 2.5 lb 1st stage and a 2.0 lb 2nd stage. I sort of like the SSA-E but it has a 2.3 lb 1st stage and a 1.2 lb 2nd stage; my concern is that I don't have a lot of experience with the different trigger weights and I don't want and extremely touchy trigger as I am not competing with my AR. The SSA is supposedly much better than the stock AR triggers and it is rated for military and L.E.; which essentially means that the trigger is not extremely touchy.

I also considered the Geissele SSF (Super Select-Fire) trigger; does anybody know if they sell this to the general public? Do you have to purchase a tax stamp to purchase this trigger?
