Lots of 45Super threads open right now. But just for you.

For occasional shooting, just load it up. For more than a few boxes, add a heavier recoil spring to protect the frame. Then some extra power mag springs for feeding reliability with the faster slide motion with the heavier recoil springs.
For a real heavy diet of straight 45super, you can always go with a ported or comp'ed barrel. Not required by the pistol, but easier on the hand.

NO. The heavier powder charge will open the slide faster even against a heavy spring and the heavier recoil spring will also close the slide faster, resulting in less time for the top round to be repositioned for pickup by the slide. So stronger mag springs to get it pushed up.
