anyone have Amory Kote Pics? or hard Chrome?

I was woundering if someone could post pics of their XD's that have the armory Kote on them. would like to see all three colors black/silver/green. Also would love to see the Hard Chrome from SA's custom shop.

below the lettering, closest to the frame, is a higher polished area, and everything else was matte..

i know mine isnt much differant but its the armory-kote in silver and its like a matte stainless....

How do you guys ship your guns in for coating? I recently checked into shipping firearms. US Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS won't ship handguns. US Postal Service will ship from authorized dealer to authorized dealer and thats all I could find out.

Chrome. Did you polish that one area of the slide yourself? or did Tripp do it? I like the matte/polished look combination.

I believe FedEx and USPS both ship handguns, you just have to declare it. Don't know about UPS though. I've had several pistols shipped thru FedEx. Do NOT use DHL they suck, takes forever. Always some delay or other.

FedEx & UPS, yes, USPS, no

USPS only ships from FFL to FFL

You can mail the slide via the USPS but not the Frame.

Will they Armory-kote the barrel too? Maybe I'm goofy, but I'd like the barrel and slide to match in color.

I am personally going with the hard chrome from Tripp research because i personally know Mr Virgil Tripp. I roomed with his son and worked with him too. Mr tripp is a very nice guy kinda quiet when i met him. Does Excellent work

That's kinda cool,, I'd like to have the grip safety, decocker, and slide lock done on my bi-tone,, (oh, trigger too)
