KAI USA : Kershaw Product Details

I am wanting a heavy chopper at some point. McBrides here in Austin has 1 of these.

I looked at it and it's pretty nice.The handle felt pretty comfortable. The kydex sheath was pretty nice too.

Fleabay has one for about $81.00.

Have you looked at Esee Junglas - s'posed to be really good

Yes, I'm a huge fan of ESEE products. The Junglas is about twice the price though.

I may do that.

For the price it's hard to beat the outcast. It's a solid chunk of nice tough D2 steel that holds a really good edge. The ESEE knives are also really cool though and have just as good a track-record, so if you have to dough to foot the Junglas and it strikes your fancy, get that. Both are great companies with equally as good warranties and great products.
