Does anybody make a holster for the 4" Service model XD-40 with an attached light? I want to get a light for my gun, and I like the small size of the XML. But where can I get a holster for it?

Old-School, will the holster that holds the M3 light also work for the XML?

And, what is your opinion on the differences between the two lights? I don't have a light yet, but will be getting one. Mostly it will not be for concealed carry, but for home defense and open carry in campgrounds and such.

The holsters we have in stock are for the XML only, however we often special order the M3 or M6 version for guys.

As for the lights, I prefer the Glock Tac Light of M3 on the Service model, as the XML is literally a reach unless you modify the rails. The Glock Light and XML are comparable in price, however I believe the output on the M3 is higher and brighter.

Old-School, thanks for all the info. I see you have a sweet deal on the M3 Tac Pacright now. As soon as I get these bills paid (kids midyear tuition, ouch!) I'll be ordering one. Then I'll have to find money for a holster, then for a bigger pistol safe, etc....

Old School, I noticed the Blade-Tech UCH for iwb on your site. Have you (or anyone) tried this? I wonder if it would be as comfortable and concealable as the Answer or C.T.A.C.
Actually I wonder if an iwb with an xml would be to bulky.

I have one of the UCH holsters I bought from a forum member, and I don't know about the C.T.A.C. or the Answer, but I set this one up for a straight draw, and have been wearing it ever since (a couple of weeks). It feels kinda big, but the XD is not a small gun, so I don't think there is any way around the big feeling.

i am currently working on a holster that will hopefuly accept a wide range of tac lights in a IWB holster. If it works out and feels comfortable, I'llbe marketing them.
