Looks like it is WAY overpriced. Just looking over the GHB I think the same could be had for $140 easy, less if you shop around, but atleast they actually use some nice stuff like a Fenix flashlight but still, if you have a few minutes to swing by an outdoors store or 2 and your local wally world, you could make that exact kit for about half what they are selling them for. Did not use my time to look at the higher priced kits. I would say build your own, but use the detailed list as a good guide of "what" to buy.

good info, thanks. having never priced out a kit as extensive as what they offer, it's hard to tell if they were too expensive or not.

Copy their list, find a bag that suits you, and build your own.

Well I guess if you plenty of money to burn and don't care what you spend then yea. If I were extremely well off and did not want to hassle building my kit then yea.

On that GHB I bet the fancy bag alone makes up about half that price if not more. Right there already you could save a lot of money just by going with a military surplus bag that will work just fine.

Pretty good list of stuff to start from, even if it is a little overpriced.

Having put together a BOB, a GHB, and a medical bag, and am now working on stocking for a "bug-in" ... I'm not sure that the stuff offered on that site is so over priced. I've spent thousands of dollars, and lots of time and effort doing mine over the past several years.

Getting stuff together ain't cheap!
