Decided to buy a second AD-Recon mount for my new build. My dealer didn't have the one I wanted, so I decided to order directly from the American Defense website. The mount showed in-stock when I placed the order. The website states that in stock items will be shipped the same day. I received the standard auto acknowledgement of the order, but that's been it. No change in the order status in their queue, no notice of shipping, and no response to my email inquiries. The mount now shows not in stock.

Anyone else have experience doing business directly with AD? Is this normal?

Honesty don't remember but my mounts fantastic

Safety is a momentary choice. Prior performance and certification are completely irrelevant.

Yep, the quality is not in question. It's the customer service I'm concerned about. Particularly when I'm paying them full retail price.
