Love my AK. New to me and I'm trying to do some simple functional fixes.

Firstly, I'd like to add a stock extender/butt pad. I bought a Tapco but it doesn't fit the screw holes, as you can see in the pic below.

I'm also trying to find this replacement part but can't seem to locate it anywhere. I've got a fun little sling that I want to attach and can't. Anyone know where I can get this piece?

Do you mean that the link is to a piece for an SKS stock or do you mean that I need a sling thingy that would fit an SKS?

He meant the buttstock extension is for an SKS I believe. And that's why it doesn't fit.

Maybe, but I got it straight from CheaperThanDirt. It's marked as a Tapco AK stock extension.

But who knows...
