I'm new to long guns but i love them. I have an ar build that i'm yet to shoot and i'm already considering the next build. but this time i'm thinking about coming over to the ak side. I've seen and heard all of these things about the ak being inaccurate past 250 to 300 yard but i realized i cant see past 200 or 300 yards! why be accurate for something that far away i'm not planning on fighting a war, i just want to have something reliable in case i ever need it, and something to have fun with. i know aks are cheaper than ar's i built my ar for 750, so about how much would it be to do an ak, and where can i find quality parts?
