KiowaWarrior OH-58D, bad poll maker! You go to the corner and sit down. Come back when you realize what you did. There is no ported 40 either.

ok , ok , ok , i am sorry,, i thoght that i put in the XD-40 Tactical, and i didnt mention the 45GAP since its so new , sorry guys . I am still new to the board . The XD-40 will give the Glock a run for the money except in the anti-corrosion departnment. i have read several counts where the XD has corroded from rust and dampness. Why is this? i have to admitt that my Glock has been with me for 10 yrs and in the rain and lots more and not once have i seen rust. But this XD has picked up a LOT OF RUST in only 11 months .

I would never presume to tell anyone how to care for their gun (being a relative newbie to guns myself), but I will say that with a little Armadillo, my XD40 shows no sign of rust or corrosion. And believe me, the salty, humid air on the Space Coast, Fl will attack metal very quickly.
