After a long wait to get my ccw permit, I finally was able to take my beginners hand gun course. After the two hour lecture which ended about 8:30 pm. me and five other people headed out to the range. After the first 25 rounds went through, all successfully, I found out that I had a flinching problem. The class was good and I came away with some good tips.

on to the good news:

I went to the range on Saturday and put a good 250 rouns through the xd and was alot more comfortable and really enjoyed this days shooting.

Sunday, I headed back to the range and put another 175 rounds through the xd. With my friend along, I got to shoot his Smith and Wesson Sw9ve and my initial thoughts was that the trigger pull was long and difficult compared to my xd.

On both saturday and sunday, the gun didnt have any hiccups, ftf's, or fte's at all. Im very pleased with my purchase and want to go back. Needless to say I'm hooked.
