Hello,
I just purchased an XDM 9mm. I'm new to handguns and saw that there are reguler 9mm rounds and 9mm luger rounds. Is there a difference? I thought maybe it was grains but I saw reguler and Luger with the same grain count while searching around.
Can 9mm Luger rounds be fired from an XDM ?
Thanks

9mm parabellum=9x19=9mm Luger. All different names for the same round, which is what your XD is chambered in.

While there ARE other 9mm calibers (many of them), if you go into a gun shop and ask for a box of 9mm, you'll get one of these.

Hi Scott and welcome to tue fourm from Louisiana. The XDm in 9mm will pretty eat whatever you feed it. Even the Tula/Wolf steel cased ammo.
