PLEASE ONLY USE PUBLISHED SOURCES, TWO IF POSSIBLE. CHAMBERS DIFFER, RESULTS MAY DIFFER AS WELL. ALWAYS START MINIMUM AND WORK UP CAUTIOUSLY.

accuracy was similiar with 3 different charges.

Although I have not found the recoil to be especially heavy at that level, I did find that 7.0grns of Longshot is generally "good enough" as far as velocity was concerned with 180grn bullets and faster in whatever length barrel I had on hand for testing compared to other powders at similar pressure levels.

When you continue testing with the 7.1 and 7.3grn loads of Longshot, I feel sure you will come to a similar conclusion, as your power factor indicates, but even your 7.3grn load will still be well under the pressure limit for the 40S&W.
