Which would you think would be better for IDPA use, the 4" full or the 5" tac

I use both, but like the 5" better. No particular reason other than I like the feel of it and shoot it better.

Use the one you would carry for defense. The whole pretext of IDPA competition, is using you're carry gun and gear. 8)

If I do IDPA I will be using my sub. It's what I carry.

I Second Street dog. I prefer and feel way more comfortable with my 9MM 5"-Tactical. Which by the way is also my personal (ccw) carry weapon.
