I just emailed EFK to ask about conversion barrels for the SC. Here is my email:

I'm sure you guys get a fairly obnoxious number of this question, but is there any chance in the near future of you offering conversion barrels for the SA-XD Subcompacts? I have an XD40 and I would definitely buy a 9mm barrel if they were offered. In any case, you can add my name to the list of public interest in such a product.

If I'm decyphering this correctly, it looks like I'll have a 9mm soon. Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up on this one.

Cool, it sounds like they're just waiting for a gun to fit a barrel to.

Frank admits to be bad at typing. When I spoke with him about this a few weeks ago, he stated that he did purchase a gun, so they can start the design on the barrel. That said, it may be some time before it is out, because of the backlog is he battling in the shop.
