I just heard of this round today as an AR friendly alternative but I cant find a lot about it on-line other than it seems to be dated back to 2011.

It looks pretty interesting to me, have you heard any reviews?

MSR = modern sporting rifle

Not much info out there on it, I think I will stick to 5.56 for now.

So I guess he can't shoot an AR without all of that tacticool stuff?

That video seemed rather corny.

You don't have a bottle opener on your rail?
If I owned an evil assault weapon, I would. I think it can be very practical to use your AR to open your beer.

video gave me a headache, seriously.

What does it do that the 6.5 grendel/300 blackout don't do? I heard nothing but cool background music and stylish posing.

I like how they call it a MSR round, then test it out of a 24" barrel....

yes. MSR rounds are generally shot from 16 or 18" barrels. That is how other producers of MSR ammo test theirs. It is making their little pet round look better than it really is, and makes me suspicious if they aren't being a little loose with definitions in other places as well.
