The plunger tube fell off my 9-month old SA Parkerized GI 1911 with about 300-400 rds down the pipe.

The finish on the replacement installed by SA is steel blue.

Should I just accept this or have someone local replace it? I am waiting on a reply from SA but they have not answered other than to tell me they forwarded my email to the Repair department.

Maybe its just me but not the type of service I expected from SA.

Call them instead of e-mailing.

SA is usually quite good about taking care of issues.
