10mm Magazine question

I have the new XDM Elite 3.8" compact 10mm w/ several extended magazines (15 Rds). My question is will these extended magazines work in the new XDM Elite 4.5" 10mm if I remove the extension sleeve ?

My XDM Elite 4.5 mags say 15, but hold 16. Go figure.

The XDME Elite 4.5 comes with two 15 round mag bodies wearing +1 bases totaling 16 rounds, along with two flush bases. I would think they're otherwise the same.

I looked high & low for the 3.8" 10mm last fall

Settled for the 4.5" & Hex dot package

Quite a handful with full nuts loads

Yes...I had the higher sights swapped out

Great/accurate pistol

Yes...at the time was 'Gear Up' package

So I got the extra mag deal
