Someone the other day posted that SA reported a 10 week turnaround time. I got all concerned and called them regarding my pistol I was hoping for this week, and was told at the moment they are telling people returns have no more than a 3-4 week turnaround. Just wanted to set the record straight.

They say that, but they mean different. Last time I sent a gun to Springfiled it was 2 months before I saw it again and then I think only because I called about the RMA status. Take their turn around times with a grain of salt.

I made the post you are speaking about. The turn around time Debbie stated was due to the Black-T coating. The Black-T was backlogged she said. I am sure that if I was just having the sights and trigger work it would be allot sooner.

I got an email from them... I sent my xd in on tuesday 2/22, they received it on friday 2/25. It went for an armorykote and a replacement rear trijicon sight (one of the lamps went out). The email says my xd will be sent out on friday, 3/11, and i will probably have it back on monday the 14th. 2 1/2 weeks. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify b/c I know when people post about a long wait time, I hold off on sending something in, until they're on schedule again. This is the third time I have sent in my pistol and had it returned in around 2 weeks.

It took the full 10 weeks. I got the gun back yesterday morning from FedEx.

The Black-T is very nice as is the trigger job they did on it.

Pics soon.
