I was having issues firing my XDm. I was shooting left and low. Well, it sounds stupid but all I did was change out the grip2 to grip3. I shot 100rounds today and it shot great.

I was using a 2 inch target and my groupings were awsome. I know that it sounds like I am bragging but it's just that I am excited about aiming at something and hitting it dead on feels great specially after thinking that my XDm was messed up.

Amazing what grip issues in pistol shooting will do. Congrats on solving your problem.

I think it's great that you didn't give up on the pistol and tried something different and got excellent results in the process.Besides weknow your really bragging on that firearm of yours. Now you can start having fun with it.;)

I also went from the medium back strap to the large and noticed a big improvement in shot placement. I am still a little off to the left though so more range time to work on that trigger finger.

I'm low and to the right. (left handed). The range I use is at 10 yards. I think I might try switching to the larger grip. I hear that a punch is needed to remove the pin. I do not own a set. Any recommendations on where to buy?

It actually was kind of difficult. I took my time b/c I did with a nail and didnt want to cratch my gun.

But if you get the proper tools it would be a 2 minute thing.

Use a pin punch. Available individually or in sets at any hardware store, harborfreight.com or similar, many gunshops. If you resort to a nail, file the end flat. Do not use any pointed or tapered object to drive the roll pin. A roll pin is formed by rolling flat steel into a cylinder. It is slightly compressed when installed. The spring tension of the pin trying to re-expand is what keeps it in place. When you use a pointed punch, with every push you are expanding the pin by wedging it open. This not only makes removal much harder but you also expand the retaining hole. Making the hole to pin fit looser. More likely to be loose and shift when reinstalled. The pin is springy in diameter but once you have pressed the diameter of the pinhole larger with the expanded pinhead or tapered punch, the enlargement is permanent.
So, yes a nail will work but a pointed end makes more work of you and does some small but permanent damage to the part that is held by the pin.
